Azerbaijan has announced the arrest of another Armenian. His
name is Madat Babayan. Babayan was arrested in September in Karvachar.
Azerbaijan accused the resident of Artsakh of participating
in the so-called
“Khojaly massacre”.
Earlier, Hetq reported that the relatives of 71-year-old
Madat Babayan from Getavan village of Martakert Province had received a phone
call from Baku in October. Babayan had been reported missing since September.
Madat Babayan had talked to his grandson and had told him that he was in
Baku.
