Ararat Mirzoyan and Iran’s acting foreign minister discuss the region and concluded agreements

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with Iranian Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani.

Following the visit of the Armenian prime minister’s delegation to Tehran on May 22, the Armenian foreign minister once again expressed his condolences to his counterpart on the deaths of the Iranian president, foreign minister, and other people accompanying them, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia reports.

The sides noted that the neighborly ties between the two countries and peoples are deep and strong and will be continuous. Ararat Mirzoyan and Ali Bagheri Kani discussed the bilateral and regional agenda, stressing the mutual willingness to implement the agreements reached so far and ensure the continuity of existing projects.

The Iranian side, in turn, expressed its condolences on the losses and damages caused by floods in Tavush and Lori provinces of Armenia.
