Education, Science, Culture and Sports ministry politicizes TaLuys Choir’s concert: Past few days recapped

The participants of the Tavush for the Homeland movement led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan arrived in Gyumri by car from the section adjacent to Ashtarak highway’s Red Cross and spent the whole day there. The Aznavour Foundation and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MoESCS) had organized a concert on the occasion of the International Day for Protection of Children. The concert was to be held in the city’s Theatre Square. However, it took place in a different place without the participation of TaLuys Choir of the Diocese of Tavush.

The MoESCS forbade the children to sing, saying that Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan was aiming to politicize the concert. Moreover, the deputy minister mocked a clergyman, calling his attire a dress.
