Kirants former head: In Kirants Mher is demolishing his house, while Khanum is moving
People are demolishing houses in the village, Hmayak Nazaryan, the former head of Kirants village, told ABC media.
“They are already demolishing houses and drawing the border. Mher has pulled down his house and torn off the roof. Khanum is thinking about moving. She has a wagon; she needs to take it out. Power is being turned off in the area that is being ceded to the Turks,” Nazaryan noted.
When asked about the situation on the roads, Nazaryan said: “They are building a bridge on the road. They seem to be building that bypass.”
To remind, the process of border delimitation and demarcation between Armenia and Azerbaijan started from Tavush province on April 21. The Opposition considers this delimitation-demarcation process to be illegal. In order to fight against it, the Tavush for the Homeland movement started in Kirants. The movement will organize a big rally on June 9 in Yerevan’s Republic Square.
