Belarusian House of Representatives deputy: Western politicians do not need peace in the post-Soviet territory

The West sets itself the task of causing disputes between all the countries in the post-Soviet territory and provoking conflicts here. Oleg Gaidukevich, a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, said this during the On the Topic program on BelTA news agency’s YouTube channel, commenting on the visit of the president of Belarus to Azerbaijan and Artsakh.

Gaidukevich expressed confidence that the West does not want Armenia and Azerbaijan to live in peace. Western politicians do not need it, as they do not need peace in Ukraine, he added. “While Belarus wants peace; we want no conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan; we want no war in Ukraine; we want peace in the post-Soviet territory. Why? Because we live here,” the official concluded.
