Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is looking for new targets for “Hitler-style” invasion.
Rinkēvičs fears that the Russian leader wants to restore the Soviet empire. He believes that Moldova, Armenia, Georgia and even Kazakhstan could be potential targets.
“If Russia feels that it has won in Ukraine, it will have a temptation to continue. If it feels that it has lost, it will want to take revenge,” the Latvian president said.
He also criticized Western leaders for “vague” commitments to help Ukraine, adding, “NATO is failing.”
