G7 to give Ukraine $50 billion from Russia’s frozen assets
The G7 countries have agreed to allocate $50 billion to Ukraine by the end of 2024 from the frozen Russian assets, Agence France-Presse (AFP) said in an X post, referring to its source in the Elysée Palace.
The funds are expected to be transferred by the end of 2024. The initiator of the transfer is Washington.
