For the negotiations to start, Ukraine must withdraw its troops from the entire territory of the new regions of Russia: the LPR, the DPR, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with the country’s foreign minister.
“As soon as Kiev declares that it is ready for such a decision and begins a real withdrawal of troops from these regions, as well as officially announces the abandonment of plans to join NATO, we will immediately—literally at the same minute—issue an order for a ceasefire and the start of negotiations. I repeat once again, we will do it immediately,” Putin said.
He called such conditions “very simple”.
