Helicopter crashes in Russia’s Amur Oblast

A Robinson R-66 helicopter, with four people on board, crashed in Amur Oblast, Russia, the Investigative Committee of Russia wrote on Telegram.

According to early reports, on the morning of June 20, the helicopter took off from a wood processing plant near the Jeltula River in Tyndinsky District of Amur Oblast but did not land.

A distress signal then came. The crashed helicopter was found during the search and rescue operations. Information about the number of victims is being checked.

Preliminary reports say there were a pilot and three passengers on board the helicopter.
