Palestine Liberation Organization welcomes Armenia’s recognition of Palestinian statehood

The Palestine Liberation Organization welcomed Armenia’s recognition of the Palestinian state. According to Armenpress, Hussein al-Sheikh, the secretary general of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, said in an X post.

“We welcome the recognition of the State of Palestine by the state of Armenia in accordance with international law and international legitimacy. This is a victory for right, justice, legitimacy and the struggle of our Palestinian people for liberation and independence. Thank you our friend Armenia,” Hussein al-Sheikh wrote.
