On June 24, in the village of Shuvalan, Azerbaijan, Rovshan Allahverdiyev, who has been convicted several times and was wanted, showed armed resistance to the police officers.
As the Azerbaijani APA news agency reports, according to the joint information provided by the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General’s Office, hiding behind family members and taking advantage of the situation, the man started shooting with a Lancaster shotgun, killing three police officers and one civilian.
Rovshan Allahverdiyev was neutralized by police officers.
