Julian Assange officially released from prison
Founder of WikiLeaks Julian Assange was officially released from prison and left the U.S. District Court.
Assange pleaded guilty to only one of 18 counts of violating the Espionage Act.
He must order WikiLeaks to destroy the classified U.S. data.
Assange left the courthouse to applause and left for Canberra. He has been ordered to compensate $520,000 for the flight from London to Australia, ABC reports.
WikiLeaks will continue its activities.
