Israel has mounted a ground offensive against Hamas.
After the completion of the operation, the servicemen of The
Israel Defense Forces (Tzahal) will return to Israel, The Jerusalem Post
reports.
It is noted that the Israeli ground forces made an incursion
into the Gaza Strip overnight and carried out a special military operation
against Hamas. As the newspaper writes, the Israeli ground forces, armored cars
and the 36th Armored Division of the Israel Defense Forces were involved in the
operation.
The troops have been in Gaza for a few hours. It is assumed
that after the completion of the special military operation, the military units
will return to Israel. Yesterday, Head of the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit Daniel
Hagari stated that short-term special operations prepare the ground for further
operations.
