The U.S. fighter jets have made strikes on the forces
connected with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in eastern Syria, the
Pentagon reports.
As noted, the operation was conducted in retaliation for a
series of drone and rocket attacks against U.S. military bases and personnel.
Two F-16 Fighting Falcons were used. Arms depots were mainly
targeted.
