Bayramov-O’Brien meeting discusses issues concerning Armenia
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O’Brien, now in Azerbaijan.
According to the Azerbaijani media, the meeting discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral agenda between the U.S. and Azerbaijan, as well as the current state and prospects of the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and other regional issues.
Bayramov informed O’Brien about the post-conflict situation in the region and the negotiations on the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Despite significant progress in the implementation of the project, Bayramov emphasized the importance of amendments to the Constitution and legislative acts of Armenia and the relinquishment of the demands regarding Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
