Director of Ashtarak Medical Center Argishti Hovhannisyan has been taken into custody. The Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia confirmed the information.
Marina Ohanjanyan, the spokesperson for the Anti-Corruption Committee, told ABC Media that the director of the medical center has been taken into custody on the charge of accepting particularly huge bribes and aiding others in taking bribes.
“Besides the director of the medical center, two more people have been charged in connection with the criminal proceedings being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Committee,” Ohanjanyan added.
