On July 1, North Korea conducted a test launch of a new type of ballistic missile, named Hwasongpho-11 Da-4.5, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reports.
According to the news agency, the new type of missile is a tactical ballistic missile capable of carrying a 4.5-ton, super-large warhead.
The test launch was carried out at a maximum distance of 500 kilometers and a minimum distance of 90 kilometers.
