World champion Nugzari Tsurtsumia dies with suicide version considered
Georgian Greco-Roman wrestler, world champion Nugzari Tsurtsumia has passed away at the age of 27, Netgazeti reports.
Tsurtsumia was found dead in his home. According to preliminary reports, he committed suicide.
Tsurtsumiya became the world champion in the men’s 55 kg event. The wrestler was also a two-time bronze and silver medalist at the World Championships; he also won a bronze three times and a silver once at the European Championships.
