Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan cannot become a mediator in the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
“No, it’s impossible,” Peskov said on Channel One Russia.
At the same time, he confirmed that at the meeting, Putin and Erdogan discussed the situation in Ukraine.
Earlier, we reported that at a meeting in Astana on July 3, the Turkish leader offered the Russian president his mediation in the resolution of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
