Erdoğan cancels visit to Israel and states Hamas is not a terrorist organization

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has announced that he
is canceling his plans to visit Israel.

He stated that the Palestinian Hamas movement is a group of
warriors fighting for their lands and homeland, and not a terrorist
organization.

“Once in my life I shook the hand of a man called Netanyahu. We had good
intentions, but they hurt us. We had plans to leave for Israel but have
canceled them. We will not go,” Erdoğan said.
