Rouen Cathedral’s tower in France catches fire

A fire broke out at the tower of Rouen Cathedral in France, BFM TV reports.

The cathedral is one of the country’s historical monuments. The cause of the fire is still unknown.

The mayor of Rouen said all services have been mobilized to put out the fire.

The cathedral was built in the 12th-16th centuries, while the 151-meter-high cast iron tower was built in the 19th century.
