Voting for parliamentary elections in Syria ends
Voting for the parliamentary elections in Syria has ended and the counting of votes has begun, Syrian state news agency SANA said, referring to the statement of the country’s Supreme Judicial Elections Committee.
“The polls have closed, and the counting of votes has begun,” the news agency says.
Parliamentary elections were held in Syria on July 15. More than 1,500 candidates were competing for 250 seats in the Syrian Parliament.
