Bus carrying 60 passengers overturns in Spain

A passenger bus in Barcelona met with a road accident, the Civil Protection Department of Catalonia wrote on X. The vehicle overturned entering a tunnel near the village of Pineda de Mar.

As reported, doctors provided assistance to 52 passengers; three of them are in serious condition.

In total, there were about 60 people on the bus; they were the employees of the chain of Spanish Inditex clothing stores.

The highway where the accident happened was partially closed. The cause of the accident has not been officially announced. According to La Vanguardia newspaper, the cause of the accident could have possibly been a bus puncture.
