The U.S. has contributed more than $16 million to the development of the Patrol Police Service in Armenia. According to the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan, Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Uzra Zeya said this during her visit to the new buildings of the Patrol Service and Operational Management.
She noted that the U.S. is committed to working with Armenia to advance reform of Armenian law enforcement agencies.
“We continue to deepen U.S.-Armenian collaboration on every level based on our shared democratic values, strong people to people ties, and unwavering commitment to the rule of law,” Under Secretary Zeya said.
