Biden tests positive for COVID-19

U.S. President Joe Biden has tested positive for COVID-19, the White House says.

“President Biden is vaccinated, boosted, and he is experiencing mild symptoms following a positive COVID-19 test,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said.

The White House said the president is returning to Delaware for quarantine.
