1st freight train to start from Iran to China
The first freight train from Iran to China will start on July 21, Tasnim news agency reports.
On this occasion, a solemn ceremony was organized, in which General Director of Islamic Republic of Iran Railways Miad Salehi and representatives of China, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan participated. It is noted that the first Chinese train arrived in Iran 10 days ago.
The Chinese transit train “Xian” arrived in Iran to improve the transit situation of Chinese goods to West Asia and Europe.
The arrival of the Chinese transit train to Iran can contribute to the development of the Chinese goods market in Iran. The train arrived in Iran via Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, having been on the way for 10 days.
Relations between Iran and China have been strengthening in recent years, especially after the effective measures taken by the late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. Taking into account the 25-year strategic partnership agreement between Iran and China, these measures will contribute to the significant development of relations between the two countries.
