Russia and Iran prepare strategic partnership agreement
The representatives of Russia and Iran have completed the preparation of a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement, which will be concluded soon, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko said.
“During very effective consultations—which took place in Moscow on June 21—between experts from the legal and territorial departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of both countries, it was possible to finalize the text of the agreement,” the diplomat said in an interview with TASS.
Rudenko added that after the consultations, agreements were reached on the initiation of internal procedures to prepare an agreement for conclusion on the margins of one of the closest bilateral contacts at the highest level.
