Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris in Washington on Thursday.
“The meeting lasted approximately 40 minutes,” reads the press release issued by the office of Netanyahu. The office added that Netanyahu and Harris held talks at the White House.
Earlier, the head of the Israeli cabinet thanked U.S. President Joe Biden for having supported the Jewish state for 50 years. Their meeting also took place at the White House and lasted approximately 1.5 hours, Netanyahu’s office said.
The Israeli prime minister left for Washington on July 22, where he gave a speech in the U.S. Congress on July 24. Former U.S. President Donald Trump announced earlier that his meeting with Netanyahu would take place on July 26 in Florida.
