The Paris 2024 Summer Olympics will be held from July 26 to Aug. 11, 2024.

About 10,500 athletes from about 200 countries will participate in the games. Paris aims to organize the most environmentally friendly Olympic Games. Many sports complexes will use renewable energy sources and have minimal carbon emissions.

For the first time, breakdancing, skateboarding, sport climbing and surfing will be included in the Olympic Games.

Some of the competitions will be held at historical sites such as the Eiffel Tower and the Palace of Versailles.
