A powerful explosion took place today in Ludwigshafen, Germany, where the German industrial giant BASF is located. According to Bild, at least 14 people were injured.
The factory employs more than 112,000 employees from all over the world. In 2023, the sale price of the plant was €68.9 billion. There is also a Russian subsidiary, BASF LLC, located in Moscow.
