There is post-election chaos in Caracas: The protesters who took to the streets consider Maduro’s victory in the election false. Earlier, the office of the Venezuelan presidential candidate and the current head of state Nicolas Maduro announced his victory in the election. After this announcement, mass acts of civil disobedience started in the country; dozens of people have been arrested. Geert Wilders, the leader of the Party for Freedom of the Netherlands, called for Turkey to be expelled from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan threatened to invade Israel.
