The Commission of National Security and Foreign Policy of Islamic Parliament of Iran will hold an emergency meeting in Tehran regarding the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of Palestinian Hamas, IRNA news agency writes.
The meeting is scheduled for July 31, in the second half of the day.
“The issue is under investigation, the Commission of National Security and Foreign Policy will provide relevant information regarding further actions and meetings,” the Commission’s spokesperson Ebrahim Rezaei said.
