The Republic of Artsakh has not been dissolved. Has anyone
here seen that document? Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan said this to the
protesters from Artsakh.
“I would like to know if you are thoroughly familiar with
that document. There are a great deal of issues regarding that, but I cannot
refer to them here. However, I assure you that we are familiar with both the
positive and the negative sides of that document. The republic established by
the people cannot be dissolved under any document. I will talk about this on
Armenian Public TV. In the near future, I will refer to all these issues,
to the document that put an end to the hostilities on Sept. 20,” he said.
The president of Artsakh noted that if they had been sure
they would win the war, they would have fought to the last.
“We spared our boys, the lives of the civilians that were at
stake. Had the war been stopped an hour later, they would have entered the town
and slaughtered children,” Shahramanyan said.
