Turkey and the U.S. concluded a deal, due to which Ankara has received American F-16 Block 70 fighter jets, as well as their modernization kits, Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler said in an interview with Reuters.
The minister expressed hope that the project will be completed without a problem until the last jet is delivered to Turkey.
Guler added that talks on the deal details are underway.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on July 12 that U.S. President Joe Biden promised to resolve the issue of F-16 fighter jet supply to the country within three to four weeks.
