Georgia and Azerbaijan have founded a joint railway company, Georgian media outlet Business Media reports.
“BTKI Railways” joint company is responsible for the operation and infrastructure management of the Marabda-Kartsakhi section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway and will also try to increase the volume of cargo transportation.
Georgia and Azerbaijan plan to develop regional transport links through this company, in particular the potential of the Middle Corridor.
