Ukraine wants to open humanitarian corridor for Kursk residents

The authorities of Ukraine, together with the country’s military leadership, are going to take the residents of the Kursk region to the country’s Sumy region, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk said in a Telegram post.

“We are currently working with the military on a possible route for a humanitarian corridor for civilians to move from the Kursk region to Sumy,” the politician wrote.

He also said that Ukraine could open a humanitarian corridor to Russia, but, according to him, the Kremlin has not sent an official request to Kyiv in this regard.
