Considering admissions to outpatients and hospitals, as well
as the number of emergency calls, currently the spread of acute respiratory
infections is high in Armenia, the RA Ministry of Health reports.
As noted, morbidity rates are 1.3 times above the epidemic
threshold and 1.6 times higher as compared to the same period last year.
Morbidity statistics, based on age groups, show that 70% of
the cases have been recorded among people under the age of 18, of which 57%
under the age of four.
