The Israeli armed forces are planning to form 374 local
self-defense units in the cities, boroughs and villages affected by Palestinian
Hamas’s attacks, the Israeli sources report.
As noted, the residents of Israel are enlisting in the
newly-formed units in large numbers. These units will be under the command of
the Israel Defense Forces.
Such units have been created in more than 15 settlements
within a week.
