The responsibility for the rocket strike on the hospital in
Gaza must be clearly established and the perpetrators held accountable. High
Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep
Borrell made an X post on this.
To remind, yesterday, hundreds of people were killed in the
rocket attack on the hospital in Gaza. Mostly women and children were among the
victims. Israel and Hamas accuse each other for the strikes.
Borrell told the press that although Israel has a right to
defend itself, it must not overstep certain boundaries.
“These boundaries are international law and international
humanitarian law.,” he said.
Borrell noted that Israel’s order for a million people in
the north of Gaza to leave for the south within 24 hours is impossible to carry
out, considering the lack of the means of transportation.
