Two people died in a passenger train collision in Tbilisi, the local media reports, referring to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The collision of trains running from Batumi to Tbilisi took place on Peikrebi Street in an industrial zone.
The dead citizens, who were on the platform at the moment of the incident, were employees of the country’s National Railway Company and were busy carrying out planned activities at the time of the incident. There has been no information about the intensity of injuries incurred by the passengers.
