Voter turnout in the parliamentary election in Azerbaijan was 37%. International organizations recorded that the elections did not meet the standards of democracy. But this does not stop Ilham Aliyev from pursuing his goal.
Only two Azerbaijani parties are seriously fighting against Aliyev. However, Ali Karimli, the leader of the Azerbaijani Popular Front Party, does not have enough resources to appear in parliament and occupy the seat of a political opponent. Therefore, he fights only with words.
