Hungary is probably the second-largest buyer of Azerbaijan’s energy resources, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said at a forum in Italy.
“We have just signed an agreement to import green energy from Azerbaijan to European countries, including Hungary. So, I think that Azerbaijan will be a key country in the future,” Orban said.
In general, regarding the relations with the EU, Orban noted that, as the presiding country of the European Council, Hungary “supports the development of an even stronger, strategic cooperation with Azerbaijan”.
