3 airports temporarily closed in Russia
Flights have been temporarily suspended in Moscow’s Vnukovo, Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports. As TASS reports, journalists were informed about this at the airport.
“Due to reasons beyond the control of the airport, temporary restrictions have been introduced in Vnukovo for the arrival and departure of aircraft from 1:30 a.m.,” Vnukovo Airport said in a statement.
According to an online board posted on the airport’s website, flights were delayed for at least 30 minutes, and for some flights, up to five hours.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that 12 drones were shot down in Domodedovo, as well as in Podolsk, Ramensky and Lyuberetsky districts.
