North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un got acquainted with the preparations for the construction of a naval base and presented the areas of work necessary for it, the Korean Central News Agency reports.
As noted, the WPK party considers the strengthening of the naval forces to be its urgent task. Kim Jong Un was accompanied by Marshal Pak Jong-chon, the vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the secretary of the Central Committee of the party, and by Defense Minister Kang Sun-nam.
The head of state watched the construction site of the port, discussing construction issues with senior staff.
