The Armenian people have many prisoners in Baku and in
Yerevan. Aliyev tortures and persecutes our leaders there in Baku, and Nikol does
the same here in Yerevan. Political scientist Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan made a
Facebook post on this.
“These two work cooperatively, targeting those with
relatively greater potential to unite and lead people. That is the gravest
“sin” that Bako Sahakyan, Levon Mnatsakanyan, Davit Manukyan, Narek Malyan,
Armen Ashotyan, Grigory Khatchaturov and the rest have committed,” he
wrote.
According to Melik-Shahnazaryan, the Aliyev-Pashinyan duo
silences many others and holds them almost captive.
By blackmailing and threatening their friends and the people
from Artsakh and by resorting to other dirty ways, they silence everyone who is
still able to change the situation for the better. And they are consistent in
their efforts.
Instead, the likes of Samvel Babayan are given ample
opportunity to act. And after all, people wonder how the enemy manages to tear
our homeland to pieces and to devour it. This is how they manage it…” he wrote.
