Khoren Indjyan, a USSR heavyweight boxing champion, died at the age of 67. Indjyan was a bronze medalist of the European Heavyweight Championship and a USSR master of sports.
The boxer reached the pinnacle of his sporting career in 1979. In May of that year, Indjyan participated in the European Championship as part of the USSR national team, where, making for the semi-finals, he became a bronze medalist.
