Iran’s new government and reformists’ thwarted plans
The new Government of Iran and unfulfilled hopes of reformists and extremists. After being elected president with considerable support from reformists, Pezeshkian presented the new government, which has conservative figures as well, with four of the proposed ministers coming from Ebrahim Raisi’s government, including the intelligence minister—a fact that seems to has thwarted the plans of reformists.
