A strategic cooperation agreement between Tehran and Moscow will be signed during an upcoming visit by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Russia, member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Abolfazl Zohrevand told Tasnim news agency.
“A long-awaited strategic cooperation agreement between the two states will be signed during President Pezeshkian’s upcoming visit to Russia,” Zohrevand noted.
The lawmaker also rejected reports alleging that Iran has sold Russia ballistic missiles. He noted that European governments seek to put pressure on the public opinion in Iran to obstruct the process of strategic cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.
