Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said the country has entered a new phase of the war, Ynet news website reports.
“We have had a number of important discussions in recent days. This is a new phase of the war; it offers significant opportunities, but also entails significant risks. Hezbollah feels persecuted, and that is why our military operations will continue,” Gallant said.
On the evening of Sept. 19, Israeli aviation made a number of strikes on the settlements in southern Lebanon.
