Zakharova: Pashinyan’s statements contradict common sense and reason

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s statements about the threat to the sovereignty of the republic by the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) contradict common sense, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova told the press.

“It seems to me that they contradict common sense and reality, because if something ‘threatens’ you, especially your national security, then what is the point of saying that they [Armenia] are still staying there [in the CSTO]? If they stay, it will mean they see some expediency in it. At the same time, they said the CSTO ‘left Armenia’. All this contradicts common sense and reason,” Zakharova said.
